Clinic Supervisor - Integrated Care and Patel Medical Clinics

Summary:

Responsible for supervision of the daily operations of the Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Office Assistants for two clinics including personnel supervision and oversight of work flows.

Reporting Relationship:

The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Clinic Manager for all Massac Medical Clinics and directly supervises the following positions:

• Medical Office Assistant
• LPN

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an LPN. Experience working with multiple providers/specialties is preferred.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Clinical Operations: Manage workflow to ensure timely and high quality task completion and effective distribution of work among support staff. Monitor processes to ensure effective and efficient operations; monitor efficient work flow patterns to maximize staff efficiency; develop and implement procedures for improved operations.

2. People Supervision: Maintains a routine presence during hours worked by assigned team members. Ensures that new team members are appropriately oriented, trained and mentored to facilitate their effectiveness in the role they are performing. Improves team member satisfaction and engagement in areas of responsibility.

3. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving the cost and/or quality of care provided in the front office. Develop recommendations for improvement and implement new processes with the support of the Clinic Manager.

4. Expense Management: Assists Clinic Manager in preparation of operating budgets to reflect an increase in value per patient served. Manages expenses to reflect actual volume utilizing budgeted levels as the base. Considers overall labor hours, premium labor hours, supplies, purchased services and professional fees when making ongoing adjustments to budgeted levels in areas of responsibility.
